Pre-Convention Orientation and Synod Update

2012 Synod Update! This year we are hosting the Pre-Synod Orientation to General Convention ONLINE. In an effort to save money, time, and carbon footprints, the Orientation to General Convention will be held May 19 ONLINE and at Grace Cathedral, San Francisco for those in the neighborhood and within a short driving distance. You may watch the proceedings at home, or have a gathering in the parish hall, or record it and watch it later.  Deputies will hear presentations and discussions with Bonnie Anderson, Gregory Straub, Bishop Sauls, Ruth Meyer, and representatives from CPG, and PB&F.

The Synod meeting (elections, triennial budget, business) will take place just prior to General Convention on the evening of July 3 in Indianapolis. We'll gather at 6:30 for hospitality and the meeting will begin at 7 PM and end at 9 PM.

The Nominations Committee will provide information and forms for nominations to the Province VIII Executive Committee and the Nominations for the Presiding Bishop Committee in April.
